Joining FAFF
FAFF neighbourhood in the Hayday Game is an English speaking neighbourhood, accepting new players from Level 50 upwards. Current members range up to level 106 New Members from lower level than 50 may be considered if you are a friend of a current FAFFster, or if you are willing to Opt Out of Derby until your level increases - it's too challenging for lower level farms to do the number/type of tasks required to keep us competitive in Champions League.
All current members have agreed to our set of Rules, and have provided an email address for the Leaders to contact them if necessary. New members are expected to do the same. You will note that the rules are mostly focussed on friendship, having fun, and being active......Derby is not our highest priority, although it does have rules to be fair to everyone.
The structure of the neighbourhood is as follows:
There is a Leadership group, made up of the 3 of the members who started FAFF originally. Together they make all decisions about Rules, and about removing any member who is not playing in the spirit of the Rules. They also decide who can join FAFF. Behind the scenes, the Leadership group work very hard to maintain harmony, to have fun, and to make sure all members are supported and encouraged to grow their farms and to have fun.... Any planned changes, eg to the rules, are usually run past the members first anyway. There is a GREAT sense of community and friendship in FAFF.
Leader - this is currently Frenchie0z, but may change to one of the CoLeaders at any time
CoLeaders - along with the Leader, this is the group which started FAFF originally - West and Roo are the current CoLeaders
The Leadership group can be contacted directly by email: FAFFLeaders@gmail.com
Elders - these are the remaining members who are active in playing Derby, they have been promoted to Elder status so that they can trash the small Derby tasks. we trash all tasks under 280 points. We don't expect everyone to take only 300+ point tasks - although that's what happens mostly.
Members - all new players joining FAFF are Member level, for a probationary period while we all work out whether they are a good fit for our neighbourhood, and their interest in Derby.
